The current College of Fine Arts Emerging Leaders are:
Kyrie is a third year Film & Media Arts student with an interest in Sound and Production Design. She's been an ArtsForce intern since Spring 2016 and this year she will be working with the Center for New Student and Family Programs as a Campus Life Mentor.
The Party Intern
Duncan is a senior in the Entertainment Arts & Engineering program, working with The Party for his second year. He's also a Food Entrepreneur with the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute!
This is Annealea's second year working as an Emerging Leaders Intern. Annealea is a forth year student in the Musical Theatre Program. She is also the Resident Advisor for the Emma Eccles Jones Fine Arts House.
Kylie is a junior studying music performance on the bassoon. She performs with the Wind Ensemble and the Philharmonia and has played with the Campus Symphony. Kylie is also a drum major for the Pride of Utah Marching Band and Utah's own Drum and Bugle Corps, The Battalion.
Nemo is majoring in Ceramics. This is her second year as an Emerging Leaders Intern. She's also been involved in Fine Arts Fee (FAF) Grants, CLAY Club, Sculpture Club, ELC, as well as being a resident in the Emma Eccles Fine Arts House,
Shannon Mostrom is a senior at the University of Utah, studying Ballet and Entrepreneurship. Her passion for ballet originally led her to study at the U, where she has since been able to pursue art and business. She is currently going on second year with ArtsForce.
Taylor is a student in the Film and Media Arts: Animation Emphasis, enthusiastic about cats, culture, and coffee. She's passionate for all art disciplines and is absolutely delighted to be a part of the ArtsForce team!
Daniel is a third year Film and Media Arts major, with an animation emphasis. This is his first year as an Emerging Leader Intern. He is interested in all areas of art, and is a leader in organizing the New Animation Club.
Mary Stringham is a junior studying Art History and Theatre Studies. She is excited to promote the College of Fine Arts this upcoming year as one of its Emerging Leaders Interns. When she is not jamming out to the Hamilton soundtrack you can find her perfecting her dancer pose in yoga class.
Associate Dean for undergrate Student Affairs
In 2013, with a group of College of Fine Arts student leaders, Liz launched the award-winning program ArtsForce. Each year, she hires College of Fine Arts undergraduate students as Emerging Leaders Interns to create and implement programs that promote the value of arts degree in our modern workforce and the value of arts in our society.
